 | | Volume 5 of the best-selling series, The Christians, has just been published by the Christian History Project. The first four volumes of The Christians have sold over 60,000 copies in Canada and the United States. These sales have been achieved primarily through direct sales and telemarketing. The volumes are not currently available in bookstores.
The Sword of Islam describes the rise of Islam and the early Middle Ages, spanning the years 565-740. The life of Muhammad and his teachings form the middle section of this volume. Included are fascinating details of Arab life and culture of the 6th and 7th centuries. Insight into the roots of the current conflict between the West and fundamentalist Islamic sects may surprise readers.
Ted Byfield, formerly of Alberta Report newsmagazine and a regular columnist for the Sun newspaper chain, is the general editor of The Christians. Mr. Byfield is available for individual or panel interviews. To receive a copy of The Sword is Islam, see contact info below.
Endorsers of this series include Chuck Colson, J.I. Packer, Don Wildmon (American Family Association), and Dr. Darrel Reid (Focus on the Family, Canada).
Christian History Project Inc. is a privately-owned publishing company based in Alberta.
