General HealthQUESTION:M Whatever happened to the building that housed the National Enquirer and was found to have anthrax?
ANSWER: Three years after the anthrax mysteriously appeared, the building in Boca Raton, Fla., was fumigated Sunday by BioONE, a company started by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and Sabre Technical Services. BioONE provides crisis management. American Media Inc., publisher of the tabloid, abandoned the building after the anthrax discovery in 2001. A photographer died of exposure to it. David Rustine, a real estate investor, purchased the building and reached a deal to lease it to BioONE, which plans to move into the facility by year's end.
